Perron's Trip to the Botanical Gardens: Otherwise known as eating grass, rocks and pollen

The weather here has finally turned gorgeous.  Although I do feel like we went on warp speed through spring, and are now full on facing summer.  It is supposed to be in the 90s here by the end of the week.  Sheesh!  Since the weather was nice, I thought it would be fun to take Perron for a little trip to the Botanical Gardens.  He wasn't in the mood to nap well, and I needed to practice my photography ideas.  He was so cute, but as the title suggests, he mainly wanted to put everything he could get his hands on in his mouth.  I missed the peak of the blooms, but there were still some nice shots to be found.  I remember when I was a little girl, my parents taking my older sister and I to the Botanical Gardens every Easter to get our pictures in our Easter outfits.  I look forward to creating memories with Perron at the gardens (even though Stephen hates them and thinks they are soooo boring) and sharing a piece of my childhood with him.
I love how he looks like he is waving here...he isn't..but it still looks cute.

He spent most of his day picking things up and putting them in his mouth.

It didn't always end up as he had planned.  This is after eating a hand full of pollen.

I wanted to get more pictures of him in front of the entrance to the
Japanese Garden, but I was constantly having to race forward and pry
rocks out of his mouth.

The little red bridge always used to be my favorite.

Hmmm...I wonder if there is anything down there for me to eat.
